1. Who operates Outlira

Outlira is operated by Toton. This policy covers the Outlira extension and website at outlira.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@outlira.com.

2. Your local workspace

The extension reads conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok when you use its indexing, search and organization tools. Chat titles, message contents, links and the search index are stored in IndexedDB in your browser profile. Extension preferences are stored in browser extension storage.

Folders, saved prompts, chains, smart tag rules and pins also have local copies. Outlira does not upload indexed chat transcripts to its cloud database. A prompt or chain you create can contain sensitive information; see the optional sync section before enabling sync.

Your local workspace is shared within that browser profile, rather than isolated for each Outlira account. Signing out or switching accounts does not erase it. Use separate browser profiles on shared devices. Removing the extension or clearing browser data can remove local copies; keep exports of information you need.

3. Accounts and payments

When you sign in, Clerk processes account details such as your email, profile information and session data. Outlira uses your Clerk user ID to associate your account with its Free or Pro status and verified access period in Supabase.

Paddle is the merchant of record for paid subscriptions and processes checkout, payment details, receipts and billing support. Outlira stores identifiers and subscription, transaction and webhook records needed to verify access and process billing events. Payment card details are handled by Paddle and its payment providers, not stored by the extension.

Creating an Outlira account does not sign you in to any AI platform. The extension uses your existing platform session for the platform features you request. Platform sign-in credentials are not included in Outlira cloud sync.

4. Optional Pro workspace sync

Cloud sync is optional, requires Pro, and starts only when you enable it in the extension’s Account settings. It stores folder structure and colors, chat titles and links in folders or pins, saved prompt titles and bodies, chain names and step bodies, custom smart tag rules and associated template metadata in Supabase.

Indexed chat transcripts, AI-platform credentials and extension preferences are excluded from the sync payload. If you copy conversation text into a saved prompt or chain step, that text becomes part of the template you choose to sync.

Disabling sync stops synchronization; it does not immediately erase an existing cloud copy. You can request deletion through the contact address above. Local recovery copies may be kept to resolve sync conflicts.

5. Past-chat mentions and usage

When you select a past chat with ;h, Outlira inserts its context into the AI composer. If you send the message, that content is sent to the AI platform you selected and is handled under that platform’s terms and privacy policy. Pro can insert context from another supported AI, so review the draft before sending.

For Free daily quotas, Outlira records account-linked usage counts, dates and operation identifiers, not the referenced chat text. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Prompts and chain steps you run are also submitted to the chosen AI platform.

6. Service providers and website storage

Outlira uses Clerk for authentication, Supabase for account records and optional cloud data, Paddle for payments, Cloudflare for API delivery, and a website hosting provider for delivery. Production API requests may pass through Cloudflare before reaching Supabase, including authentication headers, account requests and the workspace data you choose to sync. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, device information and logs needed to operate their services. Provider infrastructure may process information outside your country.

The website stores your theme preference locally. Authentication and checkout may use cookies or other browser storage for their operation. Outlira does not sell your chat contents or use them for advertising or AI model training.

7. Retention and deletion

Local data remains in the browser until you remove it or the browser removes extension data. Account records are retained while needed to provide the service. Billing providers may retain records for legal, tax and payment obligations under their policies.

The cloud workspace is scheduled for deletion after 90 days without Pro access; the displayed retention deadline in Account reflects your situation. Cleanup runs periodically, so deletion is not necessarily immediate at the deadline. Context-mention usage records older than 90 days are also scheduled for cleanup.

You can delete your account through Account → Profile & security. Account deletion initiates subscription cancellation and removal of the linked Outlira account records and cloud workspace. Processing depends on provider delivery and may require retries. This does not erase the local workspace or delete your accounts and conversations on AI platforms.

8. Your choices and requests

You can use the local features without an Outlira account, leave cloud sync disabled, remove local items, export supported data, and manage or delete your account. To request access, correction, deletion or other rights available under applicable law, email hello@outlira.com. We may verify your identity first.

Send only the information needed for the request. We cannot recover local chat transcripts that were never uploaded to Outlira. This policy may be updated as the service changes; the revision date appears above.
